New On My Web Site: three paintings and one poster

I just added three new PAINTINGS to my Website:

1. The Old Window and Door which I created as a participant at the painting colony in Most na Soči, Slovenia. They are images that I found in this little but charming village.

2. Saint Peter’s Boat
We saw this old boat on the shores of Mediterranean Sea in Akre (Akko), Israel. It looked like the scene straight from the Bible.

Opening of the Painting Exhibition - June 20th, 2009

This video is bringing you moments from the opening of the painting exhibition where 14 painters from various countries like Croatia, Bosnia, Slovenia, Sweden, Australia and USA, were presenting their works of art. I had the honor to be a part of this selected group. We were working together for a week. The main idea that was incorporated into our creations was based on the local history and tradition. In the fantastic ambient of the House of culture, which is located in the beautiful medieval village of Šmartno in Goriška Brda, Slovenia, we had the chance to show the results of our efforts, socialize, and enjoy the hospitality of local people, not to mention the fantastic food and wines at the reception that followed the opening.

Ta video je namenjen vsem, ki so želeli priti na našo razstavo, pa niso mogli. Postavljena je bila v prostorih Hiše kulture, ki se nahaja v prelepi srednjeveški vasici Šmartno v Goriških Brdih.

We decided to use natural dyes this year: red onion leaves and thick read wine from Slovenian coast, hence reddish brown and blue eggs...

Upon several requests I decided to make two posters (one vertical and one horizonstal), with photos and detailed information on how to make Slovenian Pastry called “Krhki Flancati”, that you will be able to frame and hang on your kitchen wall.
